My wife and I have seven children, three of whom come to us via Ethiopia. We are currently serving in Africa in two different roles. The first is serving at Rift Valley Academy
located in Kijabe, Kenya. Rift Valley Academy exists for two primary
purposes: to empower missionaries to serve by providing a safe place for
their children to learn and grow and to help raise up young adults who
are equipped for Christian life and service. RVA has around 500
students whose parents serve with 80 different mission organizations in
over 20 African countries. We are currently teaching, working in the
business office, and involving ourselves in the lives of the students in
many other ways.
The second aspect of our lives here is directing Kenya Kids Can. Kenya Kids Can
is partnering with the local community to help provide school lunches
to children in need as well as providing solar powered computer centers
in remote locations so the world does not pass by the students here.
